At Families First Fostering, we believe that every child deserves a safe, loving, and supportive home. Children and young people enter foster care for many reasons. For some thier main caregiver is unable to care for them properly, whilst some have experienced neglect or abuse. Whatever their story, they all need the same thing: a nurturing environment where they can heal, grow, and thrive.

This is where foster parents come in. Becoming a foster parent means providing security, compassion, and guidance to a child who needs it most. It’s a life-changing role, and we’re here to support you every step of the way. From thorough assessments to expert training, our dedicated social workers ensure that every foster family is well-prepared and fully supported. Together, we can give children the chance to rebuild their trust, discover their identity, and create a brighter future.

Families First Fostering is run by mother and daughter team, Amanda and Rachael from our offices in Stone & Bilston. Between them they have nearly 40 years’ experience of adoption and fostering. They are experts in caring and looking after children, who may not have had the best start in life.

As well as all the support you will need, the agency provides a competitive rewards and benefits package, including paid car mileage and two weeks per year respite. They also provide a training and development programme, designed to make you a more caring and effective foster parent. We are a small and local fostering agency based in Stone, covering the Staffordshire, Shropshire and South Cheshire Area. Including areas such as Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Telford, Shrewsbury, and Crewe, we work closely with local authorities to provide safe, loving homes for children in need.

Our agency will remain small so that our foster parents do not feel lost, but supported and cared for themselves. This means we can provide a personal, hands-on approach, ensuring that every foster parent receives the attention and guidance they need. Our close-knit team is always available to offer support, training, and reassurance, helping you feel confident and valued every step of the way.
